1.Who we are?
Codewit Global Network Ry is an international grassroots movement which aims to promote youth education, democracy and human rights in Africa and beyond. We believe that sound education would teach people particularly African youths to understand and challenge the present problems in their communities and search for susitanble African solution.
2.What is the meaning of Codewit?
Codewit (code - with - me) literally mean (write with me) is a terminology that suggest a collective approach to mobilize African authors, journalists, writers around the world to use the power of writing to help bring about change in Africa.
3.What is the main goal of Codewit Global Network Ry?
The purpose of the Codewit Global Network Ry is to participate in developing the skills and potentials of African youths in Finland and abroad to take the lead in their own development and the development of their communities by enhancing their expertise, such as youth training on cultural diversity, mental emancipation and community integration.
Codewit Global Network are committed to bringing African youth together under this new organisation. as we believe in the greatness of Africa; and we believe that change is coming to Africa as long as we will be abnle to tear down the walls of self-centeredness, ethnicity, individualism and religious barriers
4. What is Codewism?
The ideology was founded in the spirit of finding a pragmatic solution of african emancipation from western coercion and enslavement. Codewism is characterised by eight principles for African liberation:-
Afro- Jingoism: To be a true patriot and defender of African values and culture without any apprehension or timidity
Mental emancipation: To be knowledgeable of African history and accomplishments, and to dismiss any kind of complex exhibited by any race or tribe.
Self-government: To expel from one's self the notion that other world or country could help to solve African problem or help in governing African people
Self dependent: To believe in one's self and to believe that one has full capacity and the ability and potential to fend for oneself and expel any notion of seeking for pity or aid from foreign world
Economic determinism: To realize that being self-sufficient economically is the basis for rescuing the Renascent African.
Political renaissance: To regain the sovereignty that Africa has lost to colonialists.
Community integration: To expel from one's self national, religious, racial, tribal, political-economic, and ethical prejudice.
Religious tolerance: To show empathy for other peoples views, and recognize their right to hold such views.
